His elegant eyebrows and eyes looked a bit cold in the dimly lit parking lot, and with his deep-set eyes narrowed slightly, he resembled a wild beast hunting for prey, exuding a cruel chill.
"Very worried about him, huh?"
He looked up at her, his tone calm.
However, Norris Moore's back broke out in a cold sweat.
"No." She shook her head.
Trenton Smith glanced at her, and then the corner of his lips overflowed with a sneer, as he turned around and opened the car door.
Norris Moore pursed her lips tight, sensing Trenton's hostility against Alex Miller all too clearly.
Norris Moore got in the car.
The black Bentley drove out of the parking lot.
The night had grown deep, and the streets were quiet. Norris Moore rolled down the car window and took a deep breath of the cool air outside, trying to cool down her anxious and racing heart.
Then she began to explain.
