A slender figure walked over, picked up the bag from the ground, and proceeded towards her.
His charming features instantly brightened the dim quiet of the parking lot.
Norris caught sight of him, her gaze flickering for a moment, slightly dazed.
Then, her eyes suddenly widened, and she screamed, "Alex, watch out!!"
The thug who had been lying on the ground earlier had somehow gotten up, holding an iron rod and aiming to smash it on Alex Miller's head!
Alex was caught off guard. Although he managed to dodge, the iron rod struck his shoulder squarely.
Watching as the bright red blood seeped from his chest, Norris' face turned pale. She stood up and rushed towards him.
"Alex!" She cried out in panic. Seeing Alex turn around and kick the thug away once more, the thug seemed to have fainted on the ground, dropping the iron rod which clattered and rolled across the quiet parking lot.
