Trenton Smith raised his hand to wipe her tears and scolded her, "Why are you crying? Do you plan on burning to death in bed without getting an IV?"
"My head hurts so much," she whimpered, very aggrieved.
Trenton raised his hand to massage her temples.
She had to have two IV bags which would take more than two hours. Trenton checked the time and realized he probably wouldn't make it back to the office.
Wasting an afternoon on Norris Moore made him quite irritable.
Norris shrank into his embrace and gradually fell asleep.
She was still wearing that pink nightgown, her hair messy, her face stained with tear marks - pitiful and childish, like a middle school student.
Trenton lowered his gaze and stared at her for a long time, then lifted his hand to wrap her up more tightly in the windbreaker. He silently hugged her and waited for time to pass.

As Evelyn Miller came to buy medicine, she passed by the infusion room and saw Norris Moore being held in Trenton Smith's arms.
