Norris's smile on her face froze, "Mr. Smith is not a stingy person."
"Why do you think I should lend you money for free?"
His tone was bland and indifferent.
That indifference was very hurtful.
"I will repay you later." Norris whispered, "Abigail is still short of ten thousand for her tuition, I have no choice. I'm begging Mr. Smith for help."
Trenton Smith ignored her.
Norris bit her lip, looking at the indifferent and arrogant look on the man's face, her heart chilled.
"Trenton, I have offended you, but at least Abigail didn't, right?" She clenched her fists, finally growing angry, "She only has one semester left to graduate, if she doesn't pay the tuition, she will not get a diploma."
Trenton Smith turned his head to look at her, his tone cold and disgusted: "What has the affairs of the Moore family got to do with me?"
"Then why are you holding me captive now?"
"What do you think it is?"
