Tilly Flower collapsed into his arms, her arms wrapped around his neck, drawing close to his face with curiosity, "Sophia Phoenix...?"
Brook Albright remained his usual impassive self, "It's me, Miss."
"Brook..." Tilly Flower's voice was soft as she nuzzled into his embrace, "How did you come here?"
"You're drunk," he said, hoisting her up sideways, then turned his head towards Norris Moore at the doorway, "She divorced Young Master Phoenix yesterday, she might not be in the best of moods, thank you for your trouble today."
His tone was coolly polite.
Hearing what Brook Albright said, Norris was startled for a moment; she knew Tilly Flower was in a bad mood but had not expected it to be for this reason.
Norris nodded, watching as Brook carried Tilly away.
Thinking about Tilly Flower's brief marriage, her own mood inevitably turned somber.
