"Now that I have you, it's different. Didn't you promise to help me with something?"
"I didn't expect that sentence from back then to still be waiting for me now."
"Will you help or not?" He hugged her waist tightly, ready to tickle her.
Norris was afraid of being tickled, so she curled up in his arms, laughing uncontrollably, "I'll help, just don't tickle me. I'm just afraid your family won't approve of my background and want to kick me out."
"That won't happen. They couldn't care less who I bring with me."
Norris gradually relaxed in his arms, her face still with a hint of laughter, making her look gentle, sweet, and well-behaved.
"I'm a bit sleepy."
Rufus stroked her hair, letting her find a comfortable position in his arms and spoke softly, "I'll hold you, you go to sleep."
She gave a nod, curled up, and closed her eyes.
It was a rather insecure position.
