There was less than half an hour left before the partner interviews this afternoon began.
Michelle Campbell, usually accustomed to a natural look, suddenly donned professional attire today, applied delicate makeup, styled her hair up, and put on very high heels... she looked absolutely commanding!
Susan Walsh carried a briefcase and followed closely behind her.
"Hand me the sunglasses!" Michelle Campbell stopped in her tracks at the high-rise entrance and suddenly stretched out her hand toward Susan Walsh.
"Cousin, do you really need to do this?" Susan Walsh took out the sunglasses from her bag, then asked her with some hesitation.
Wearing sunglasses seemed a bit too much.
She was dressed differently now, and unlike her usual self, presumably few would recognize her.
"I don't want to invite unnecessary trouble..." Michelle looked toward the entrance of the building, sighed, and said.
