"Given that we were a couple, you wouldn't begrudge me the use of your bathroom, would you?" Edward Noah Jackson coughed lightly and then asked, a bit awkwardly.
By law, they were still husband and wife!
They had not divorced!
"Come in..." Jessica Webb looked at him and finally compromised, opening the door to let him in!
As soon as she finished speaking, Edward strode inside!
His gaze involuntarily swept over Jessica's body, clad only in a bath towel.
She froze for a moment, then quickly brought her hand up to cover her chest.
"The bathroom is over there!" she said, freeing one hand to point towards the bathroom.
Edward glanced at her and then turned away, heading towards the bathroom.
Seeing that he had finally gone, Jessica sighed in relief and lowered the hand that had been on her chest.
Her face, however, became somewhat red due to his gaze earlier...

After a while, the sound of the shower came from the bathroom...
