"What should we do, should we go down the mountain?" Jessica Webb asked in a quiet voice as she lay on his back.
The cable car had stopped, making the descent from the mountain no longer smooth...
Edward Noah Jackson turned his head to look at the snow that was getting heavier. With the situation as it was, the snow getting heavier and the sky getting darker, the road ahead was almost indiscernible; how could they possibly go down the mountain!
"First, let's find shelter!" Edward saw a little cabin on the mid-mountain slope and then said.
The cabin was originally built for tourists to rest; it was just right for an emergency shelter!
So, Edward, carrying Jessica, began to descend the mountain, step by steady step toward that place.
Jessica lay on his body, too scared to say anything...
She still hadn't fully grasped the situation.
Finally, the two of them arrived at the doorway of the little cabin. Edward kicked open the door, then carried Jessica inside!
