After hearing her words, Samuel Noah Jackson looked down at the child in his arms and then, reluctantly, handed him over to Michelle Campbell!
"I'm going to have someone prepare the milk powder," he said with pursed lips, then lifted his hand to reach for the walking stick nearby.
Because he found the wheelchair too cumbersome, he had ditched it for a more convenient walking stick.
"Samuel Noah Jackson, that's not necessary anymore..." Michelle Campbell's voice rose weakly.
"Not necessary?" Samuel Noah Jackson retorted.
She said their son was hungry, right?
"I think I should be able to..." Michelle Campbell looked at the child in her arms, then muttered.
The baby was hungry... and she had milk now, which meant that she could feed the baby.
The doctor had said that breast milk was better for infants.
