"No reason!" Edward Noah Jackson glanced at her indifferently, then turned around and left.
The bedroom door was closed, and Jessica Webb was dumbfounded for a while... a bit lost in thought...

When Edward came out of the bedroom, he saw Henry Cooper standing there.
He strode over and, in a very flat tone, gave orders to Henry Cooper.
"Cut off all the telephone lines in the house!"
Hearing Edward's order, Henry Cooper revealed a puzzled expression.
"Cut off the telephone lines?" He asked somewhat confusedly.
"Less talk, more action." Edward was too lazy to explain to him.
When he heard this, Henry Cooper nodded immediately and replied, "Yes, I'll do it right away!"
Then Edward strode forward and stopped at the doorway of the gymnasium, his line of sight resting on the cowhide paper bag at the doorway!
