Samuel's face darkened, releasing her in the process.
"Why are you crying?" he asked, his eyebrows creased with worry.
How could she have suddenly started crying?
Michelle paused for a moment, then slowly turned around, lifting her hand to wipe the tears from her cheek.
In her excitement...she couldn't control her emotions, and tears kept streaming down her face!
She had been waiting for this moment for a long time...
Crying tears of joy, must be exactly what she was feeling right now, right?
With that thought, she couldn't help bursting into a smile.
Seeing the traces of tears on her face, Samuel's countenance changed abruptly. For some reason, seeing her tears made him feel jumpy inside!
He pressed his thin lips together and abruptly lifted his hand, gently wiping away the tears from the corner of her eyes!
