Mila looked down at the hand that she was holding, with a bewildered expression on her face...

Only then did Branden withdraw his hand.
Mila obediently moved the wine glass away, not touching the alcohol again, knowing he didn't like her drinking... so she wouldn't drink.
"Do you drink often?" Looking at the red wine glass set aside, Branden asked her, a hint of concern on his face!
He noticed that there was hardly any food in the refrigerator, but there were quite a few beers...
In the wine cabinet, too, there were many bottles of red wine...
"I drink a little when I'm unhappy..." Mila gave a bitter smile, and then answered lightly.
