Seeing her about to leave, Joe Webb couldn't help but feel anxious and grabbed her arm.

Being suddenly grabbed by him like this, Michelle Campbell was startled and looked at her with frightened eyes.
Seeing her being frightened, Joe Webb quickly withdrew his hand, "Sorry." There was a hint of helplessness in his eyes; it seemed she still had a shadow from the time when he took her to the toilet...
"It's okay..." Michelle shrank a bit and smiled awkwardly.
"Let's have lunch together." Joe Webb continued.
He was inviting her to lunch!
"No need, I want to get back earlier." Michelle checked the time and then said.
She didn't know what was going on with Mila either, so she figured she should go home and tell her brother first, then see his reaction.
"Then I'll give you a ride home!" Joe Webb picked up his coat from the sofa and put it on to go out.
"No need to bother, I can just take a taxi home by myself..." Michelle quickly smiled and refused.
