"Alright." Michelle Campbell nodded her head, readily agreeing.
Originally, she hadn't planned on returning to the mountainside villa today.
Though that place was big and lavish, it always seemed to lack some warmth of human touch.
Not like her own home, always bustling with noise and excitement.
...
After finishing dinner, Michelle was about to go to the kitchen to help her mother wash the dishes when her cellphone, which was in her coat, suddenly rang.
She took out her phone to look, and it was actually a call from Samuel Noah Jackson.
Seeing his name displayed on the phone, she felt extremely annoyed!
She hesitated for a moment, then turned and walked back to her own room.
After closing the room door, she finally answered the call.
"Where did you go?" As soon as the call connected, Samuel's questioning voice came through.
"I went home." Michelle's tone wasn't very friendly either.
"Which home?" He asked, concerned.
"My maternal home!" Michelle pouted and said.
