Scarlet walked down the quiet hallway with no student in sight. Everyone must already be in class, taking lectures. She had arrived school late and it did not bother her like it should have. It seems as if it was the last thing she wanted to think about.
Walking past several classes on her way, she could hear the voices of the teachers and with the kind of atmosphere she perceived around, she could tell that the students want nothing than for the class to end. If anyone sees her walking, they would think she is skipping class and there are consequences that comes after that, but Scarlet was not even bothered. These past few days have been rough for her.
