She watched as his eyes flashed yellow as he bared his teeth at her. "My wolf is rattled by the thought of you being hurt; he will not settle for it. He feels as though you are driving him mad. He wants to heal you so that he knows that you are safe. Why is that so very difficult for you to understand?" He said to her in a hissing tone.
She whimpered as she realized what it was doing to him. She hadn't realized that he was being affected by it as well. Her wolf wasn't like his. She and her wolf were one and the same. They shared the body as equals and they often agreed with each other on serious matters. She had never had a conflict with her wolf and she only made an attempt to question her at times when she was in trouble.
