Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

It was a serene night in the enchanting city of London, cloaked in silence like the mist that once enshrouded its streets. However, amidst the tranquility, a sudden eruption of fury pierced the stillness like a resounding trumpet. A residential house became engulfed in an inferno, reducing it to smoldering ruins. Countless witnesses stood helplessly, their valiant efforts to quell the blaze proving futile.

"The mother is trapped inside!" cried the distressed onlookers. Within the fiery grasp, the mother clutched two infants to shield them from the venomous fumes that permeated the air. Tears welled in her eyes, yet she remained resolute, willing to sacrifice everything to safeguard her precious children. Gazing out the window, she beheld the imminent peril, then retreated to her room, nestling her little ones in a corner with utmost care. Despite her anguish, she displayed unwavering strength, prepared to offer her very life for the sake of her children's future. In a heartfelt prayer, she beseeched a higher power, yearning for her sons to embrace a tranquil and secure tomorrow.

The flames raged ardently throughout the night, seemingly unstoppable. Yet, as the night wore on, a torrential downpour descended upon the city, engaging in a relentless battle with the fiery adversary. The rain triumphed, taming the inferno and restoring tranquility to the troubled streets of London.

At dawn's break, all that remained of the residential house were ashes scattered in the wind. Curious spectators flocked to witness the aftermath, and there, amidst the charred remnants, lay the mother's body—scarred and ravaged by the flames. Yet, nestled in her arms, her sons remained unscathed, sheltered and unharmed.

The people, moved by this heroic and unconditional sight, hailed the mother as a hero—an exemplar of maternal devotion. She had willingly offered her life for the future of her children, an embodiment of sacrificial love. In due course, the two sons were entrusted to the care of Domus Orphanage, embarking on a path of enigmatic possibilities that lay ahead.
