Minori -Mimi- Reika's life was divided into two distinct sides: the silent and introverted persona she presented at school, and the excitable and talkative personality, not that she was talking to anyone just herself, she displayed at home. Her passion for animals, cultivated by her family's extensive menagerie, offered her all the company she cared for.

Her family's farm provided her with a haven where she could escape the demands of school and immerse herself in the care of their animals. The variety of creatures, from the typical farm animals like cows and chickens to the more exotic snakes her brother looked after, allowed her to connect with a diverse array of living beings without the complexities of human interaction that disturbed her. The absence of close friendships didn't bother Mimi anymore. As Mimi sat in Math, the anticipation of a new snake arriving at her home was the spark of excitement she needed to propel her through the school day. Her brother keeping what it was a secret only added to the intrigue, and she could hardly wait to get back home and meet the new addition to their collection. "Right, that's all for today's class. I hope you all enjoy the break coming up soon but don't slack on studying. Count this extra class time as free time and if you use it for studying remember I'm always able to help." It was Yuusei-sensei, he refused to be called by his last name, this was pretty common in his class. He blows through the books and uses the free time to help out the people he went too fast for. Some students don't like it but he is very helpful if you did miss something so most are fine with it.

Yuuto and Kenji were catching up, apparently Kenji went to a tournament or something, Mimi wasn't really paying attention but she is pretty sure its about the same conversation they always have over weekends.

Kana, Arisa, and some of the other girls were talking about their shopping trip, Mimi was invited but she just went home to check on the animals they would still occasionally invite her on the hope that she'll join but she never does and most the time they just don't bother.

Hayato was drawing like always, he was nice he liked drawing and would draw animals she recently got both didn't like talking and they sat next to each other so they just passed notes.

Tomoki and Aki were talking about the last monster catcher monster they beat over the weekend, they had played a game or two with her but stopped after poor communication caused them to fail when they almost killed it.

Everyone else is working on studying, whether for math or another class though Yuusei-sensei was working with Mio and Shiki.

Mimi was content to sit in the back of the class on her game, it was Eldon Ring on a Newtendi Switch, she was currently fighting the hardest boss in the game, she had been at it for a week now but the second phase just kept killing her.

Then everything went bright before eventually turning into flat white. After at least an hour of the white nothingness hearing the voices of all her classmates and teacher who was trying to calm everyone down but none could feel or see anything so it wasn't working all to well.

It finally died down and they were no longer in the classroom, they were in a black void with a creature in front of them, it seemed to be a million eyes phasing in-between one another with 3 giant golden rings floating around it with 5 detached angle wings floating around those.

"Yuusei Mori, could you please step forward? Oh I'm Xerino- [information redacted]" the being spoke sounding as if thousands of people spoke at once before abruptly going silent with a blue box Infront of it, it was terrifying but no one reacted it was like something in their brain was actively fighting the terror it caused, like something was saying it means no harm and so their teacher stepped forward.

"Yes? Why are me and my students here and what just happened" Sensei always cared about his students, its why he never tried to fix his habit of rushing ahead because he could use the free time to help individuals instead of addressing everyone at once

"Their has been an unfortunate accident, in Elvrosion the scholars of Gythridale were making a new spell however I didn't react in time and they made an attack magic that travels through your world before teleporting back to their own as they were trying to make a magic that disappears then reappears at their target location, in short a magic accident blew up your classroom and killed everyone inside." Some students immediately thought this was a prank or a lie but looking at the creature in front of them realized, nope this is real and they were dead, Mimi didn't physically react she just started thinking.

Most students got sad or excited, they were standing in front of what can only be described as a angle or god so reincarnation novels could be correct, Mimi was upset she already had every thing she wanted and now its been stolen by some random people in a world that has nothing to do with her? That aggravated her to no end but if people are right maybe she can live the life she always dreamed about, the life of an animal, she never felt right as a human not fitting with the social norms or being social in general so maybe its for the best.

and for the first time, she spoke up in front of her classmates without being required to "Will we be reincarnated or something. Will we have to be humans again?" The creature looked at her in shock, like even now she wasn't meant to speak up like even in death it was unnatural for her to act like a human.

"Oh um yes you will be reincarnated, normally you would be reincarnated in your world as something less then you before you get so low you loop back to the top" the creature seemed to sight when it said that "However the spell I mentioned early used some runes from 'the hero summoning ritual' and dragged your souls to their world and imprinted marks on them, this has caused a whole problem as we can't just reincarnate you all as humans it would lead to a massive imbalance in the world, everything has a hero in Elvrosion even demons though normally referred to as the demon king, and it breaks the rules of reincarnation anyway, so what were going to do is let the world decide what to do with you." The being blinked? it seemed unsure in this course of action but also like it had no other choice, Mimi wasn't surprised if something could silence it without being here she doubts it's god and it mentioned how it failed to stop the spell so it is probably in trouble.

"Thank you." Mimi prayed she wouldn't wind up as a human again and it made her wonder what she was before she was Mimi for her to still not want to be human. Xerino[redacted] seemed to start back up

"I'm going to call you forward give you access to the 'Powers of the Hero', these are different for everyone but it will give you access to the Menu which everyone in Elvrosion has, since you are all now considered Adepts. Hero is an earned title 'the hero summoning ritual' despite the name actually calls Adepts which are marked and given special abilities to help them earn the title of hero, Basically you are ahead of the worlds natural starting line but you're not at the finish line just yet and they can beat you. You will not be able to hear what the others get and I will tell you your Level, Special Skill, Standing, and Class if you are a normally sentient creature, if you are not you will have your Ranking, Special Skill, Status, and Evolution." Xerino seemed to be done, it paused for a few seconds before continuing.

"Yuusei Mori, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Level 23, Special Skill "Fitch", Standing Vassal, and Class General" then suddenly he was gone.

"Yuuto, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Level 30, Special Skill "Algol", Standing Lord, and Class Hero" just like their teacher he was removed.

"Kenji, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Level 14, Special Skill "Stadium", Standing Vassal, and Class Warlock" Poof.

"Kana, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Level 16, Special Skill "Millet", Standing Serf, and Class Cantor" Vanished.

"Arisa, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Ranking F, Special Skill "Nothing", Status Monster, and Evolution Wolf" Evaporated

"Hayato, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Ranking A, Special Skill "Arrow", Status Monster, and Evolution Owl" Dispersed.

"Tomoki, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Level 12, Special Skill "Ad Infinitum", Standing Lord, and Class Shade knight" Dissolved.

"Aki, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Ranking D, Special Skill "Mott", Status Animal, and Evolution Cat" Faded away.

"Mio, You gain the [Redact- Failed] Level 19, Special Skill "Heap", Standing Vassal, and Class Alchemist" Melted.

He went through the other ten students, all were low level sentients and their special skills weren't that interesting and they were all serfs, before finally arriving on the last one, Mimi.
