7 AM.
A woman in ragged clothing was sitting on the grass outside the village of Ventakio. Although it is cold outside, the woman doesn't appear to be feeling it. She is a beautiful woman with white skin, black hair, a pointed nose, pink lips, and green eyes.
After a while, a black Cadillac stopped in front of her.
She stared at the expensive car. A man wearing a black formal suit got out of the car. She was stunned by him. He has red hair with a hockey-cut haircut. She seemed to see a celebrity because she was amazed by his appearance.
She can smell his strong, fragrant perfume.
She stared into his blue eyes. She looked down at his nose, which was very pointed. And she was even more amazed by his red, heart-shaped lips. And what was more attractive to him was his tanned skin.
She assumed the man in front of her was affluent.
"What are you doing here?" He asked coldly. He looked at the woman carefully. "Are you a beggar? Here."
He took out money. But she just grinned.
She sighed, "I am not a beggar. I'm just resting because I'm tired."
"Well, to inform you, you are not allowed to sit on the grass or rest outside of the Ventakio's village."
"But why? There is no sign posted that it is forbidden to rest outside this village," She argued.
He ignored her. He got into his car.
One hour later.
"Sir Kanyard Ventakio, here are the documents you need to sign," His secretary, Bakir Wem, approached him.
"Sir, according to what I can see on CCTV, the beggar woman still hasn't left the outside of the village."
"How many days has that woman been outside my village?"
"I saw her there just last night. Sir, Should I command the guards to pick her up?"
"Yes. But I want you to bring her here inside my mansion."
Bakir was surprised, "But sir… What if she is a dangerous person?"
"It's not your business."
"I understand, sir! I will order the guards to bring her here."
The woman took a step back when she saw that there were three men with large bodies approaching her.
"Hey! Who are you?" She asked, terrified.
The men did not answer. They quickly picked her up.
"Hey! Help me!"
Inside the Ventakio's mansion.
"Sir, what do you want to do with that woman?" Bakir asked.
"I want her to be one of the nannies of this mansion." He drank wine.
"I see, Sir."
The guards made the woman kneel in front of Kanyard.
"You?" The woman asked in shock.
"Yes," Kanyard replied, "What's your name?"
She looked out the window. "What do you want from me?"
"Answer my question first. What is your name?"
"I'm Caranta. Now, answer my question."
"Hey, be respectful!" Bakir shouted.
"I want to give you a job," Kanyard answered.
She sighed, "What type of job?"
"Be one of the nannies in my mansion."
She raised a brow. "Will you trust me right away?"
He smirked, "Yeah."
"I see. Alright, I'll take the job you offered."
"START NOW." He stood up. He raised an eyebrow at her.
A nanny quickly pulled Caranta into the kitchen.
The nanny stared at her intently, "Do you know how to cook?"
"N-no, ma'am… I'm sorry." Caranta bowed.
"It's okay. I will assign you to wash the dishes."
"Thank you, ma'am."
"Don't call me, ma'am. I'm Crisel. I have been working in this mansion for 10 years."
"Hi, Crisel, sorry. Uhm… Is he kind?"
"Who? Sir Kanyard? Of course."
"I see. Thanks."
"Let's go. I will take you to your room."
Caranta was currently in her room. She went to the window to open it.
Her eyes widened when she saw Kanyard in the garden, watering the plants while topless. She was surprised because, for the first time, she saw six-pack abs. She closed her eyes because she knew what she was thinking was wrong.
She was surprised because Kanyard turned around. But she sat down quickly.
"God," she whispered.
She looked under the bed. She suddenly trembled with fear.
She won't automatically put her trust in everyone in the mansion. However, she was quite appreciative of Kanyard's help.
One hour later.
"Help! Please, help me!" Caranta shouted.
Crisel quickly knocked on the door because she heard Caranta's loud cry.
The door did not open, so Crisel decided to enter Caranta's room.
Crisel held Caranta on the cheek. "Hey, wake up!"
Crisel tried many times to wake up Caranta, but she still didn't wake up.
That's why Crisel quickly ran to Kanyard's office to ask for help.
Crisel brought Kanyard to Caranta's room. Kanyard witnessed how Caranta screamed for help.
Kanyard slapped Caranta hard, causing her to wake up.
Caranta quickly sat on the bed. "Oh my God! What happened?"
"I think you had a nightmare," Crisel answered, "Sir Kanyard helped you."
Caranta stared at him. She was very surprised because he showed no emotion.
Caranta smiled at Kanyard, "Sir, thank you."
He just stared at her.
"Uhm… Crisel, thank you too."
"You're welcome, dear! Bye." Crisel left the room.
He looked at her, "Go to my office, now."
She stood up. "Yes, sir."
Caranta asked Crisel where Kanyard's office was. Crisel volunteered to accompany her.
"Hey, Caranta, there is a rule when you knock on the door of Sir's office. The only knock you should make is one."
"Woah… Really? What if he has an emergency?"
"I don't know. No emergency has happened in the 10 years I've been here. And maybe even if there is an emergency, disobedience is not allowed."
"Got it, Crisel. Thanks!"
Caranta was very amazed when she entered Kanyard's office. It was cold inside, like she was inside a freezer.
She looked around at his office. The theme of the office is black and red.
"Sit down," He said coldly.
"Thanks, Sir."
He looked at her firmly. "Where are you from? I need your background."
"I'm from the city of Halun. I'm 24 years old."
"That city is far from the city of Valiom."
"Yes, sir."
"You look scared, and you seem to be avoiding the things I want to ask you."
"Uhm… Sir, I'm an introvert. I hope you understand that."
"I see. And I accept you here because I see in your eyes that you are kind. But there is something wrong with you."
"It's nothing, Sir."
"Okay. Take a rest."
"But, Si-"
She was surprised when a beautiful woman suddenly entered.
