It was around 4 in the evening, for some reason the sun still shone brightly. It was weird at first but when I remembered it was already the midst of April I eased my curiosity.

Truly, the change of season was fascinating, it had been a few months since I was out during this time of the day. Because of which this usual scenery looked unusual to me.

The wind blew gently making leaves of the trees rustle, the sky at the horizon started to resemble the colour orange.

I wanted to see it more and experience it more, just a bit more... But it was impossible, yes it was the last day of mine or so I hoped naively.

I stood firmly staring at the empty road savouring every second of the view when only my mind raced around.

It was ironic that I spent so many years just so that I could part away from this world yet for some reason in the last moments I wanted to stay a bit more.

What would happen to my consciousness? I wondered. Of course I didn't want to keep it again but it would be a waste for it to vanish into nothing.

This life had been a hell to me, whenever I tried to escape the fate I just delayed the inevitable. So now I have decided to break it by dying now.

I was alone at the doorstep that existed between life and death but it did not feel like I was left behind.

I lived my life with such a good group of people but I felt lonely yet now as I stood alone at the end of my journey, it felt refreshing.

I looked at the sun, as it looked like it would go down after a while.

"Will I be able to see my life's last sunset?" I wondered and looked at the time.

4:24 p.m.

Looks like the last wish would be left unfulfilled.
