I feel like I need to put some acknowledgements for the first volume of this series (The Island of Cataclysm). It was originally meant to be a book, but I never actually got around to publishing it. It's taken me most of middle school to finish, and a few months to tweak up the grammar and stuff. It's my first time writing something like this, so ignore any pesky plot holes or pacing issues or quality inconsistencies or anything that you might notice. You can't expect a book written as a hobby to be perfect, now can you? I am glad that it is finally released and finished. Well, not finished. The story's not over yet (as you could probably tell).
If you enjoyed this book, you can look forwards to all the sequel volumes I have planned. I found the planning document I made when I first wrote this, and it turns out that there story is not even close to its ending. I'll be releasing those in a similar format (with their own separate prologues and epilogues), so don't think I'm done just yet.
Anyways, thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed it!
Now, it's my first time doing acknowledgements. Not sure how to do it, so cut me some slack.
Let's see…
Well, my friends Josh and Caleb saw my book and started writing their own two, and having those two as writer friends to bounce ideas off of has been great.
Henry and Hannah listened to my ideas and gave me suggestions, so thanks to them too.
And thank you for reading, most people I shared this with in its early stages read about two pages before going off to procrastinate on their schoolwork.
Oh, well, that's what I get for asking teenagers to read a book, I guess.
Oh, yeah, and thanks to all my friends who actually read it when I asked them to, and especially the ones who gave feedback. It really helped.
And also that one lady who had that class on making story ideas when I was in fourth grade.
And that other lady who taught that class about making villains.
There might be a few more I forgot.
I'll remember them at some point and put them in here!
…
Probably.
…
Yeah, I have no idea how to do this.
