With a smile curving his lips, Joshua Sullivan let go of her hand, leaned in closer to Keira, and gently twirled a strand of hair near her ear between his fingers, "I always thought that after my sight was restored, you'd come back begging me."
His warm breath sprayed onto her ear, his thin lips almost touching the fine fuzz on her cheeks.
Keira's throat tightened, her heart involuntarily quivering. She placed her hand on his chest, "Now I'm back, isn't that right, Mr. Sullivan? Or are you implying that you've been impatiently waiting?"
Suddenly, Joshua Sullivan stood up, seized her slender wrist, and flung her away. His brows showed no trace of affection, as if the romance and intimacy from just moments ago were nothing but a joke, "Speak up, what do you want? Could it be that Max Sully no longer satisfies you?"
