Professor Lewis finally let out a sigh of relief, "That's good, that's good, I was worried... worried that you..."
Keira Leaf smiled and didn't dwell too much on the matter, softly asking, "Can we start the examination now?"
Professor Lewis nodded, "This way, please. How have your eyes been feeling recently? Any discomfort?"
Keira shook her head, "There's no discomfort, just occasional swelling and burning pain, but it's fine after I apply some of the medicine you prescribed."
"You must have cried again, right? You have to take extra care with your condition right now, you mustn't cry all the time. Otherwise, if there's a problem with the artificial cornea, I'm afraid your eyeballs might not be saved," Professor Lewis earnestly advised.
Keira nodded, reminding herself that she must not shed tears again, or else if she really couldn't save her two eyeballs, wouldn't she become a freak?
