Director Loomis sighed, and the atmosphere in the room grew heavy. Not long after, Keira Leaf wiped her tears and spoke again, "Is it true that I can donate my corneas if someone is willing to perform the surgery on me?"
Max Sully, standing aside, gave Keira Leaf a deep look, visibly upset, then turned and slammed the door as he left.
Director Loomis hadn't expected Keira Leaf to still be concerned about this, but faced with her pale, small face, he couldn't help but feel a surge of compassion, "Miss Leaf, have you thought this through? This matter is of great importance."
"I know."
Seeing this, Director Loomis nodded and said, "Well, if someone is willing to operate on you, I can help you with the Permanent Blindness Application for your eyes."
A smile of joy appeared on Keira Leaf's face, "Really? Is that true?"
"Hmm." Director Loomis turned away, his back to Keira Leaf, appearing somewhat melancholic.
Keira Leaf stood up and bowed to him, "Thank you."
