Seeing his simple agreement, Keira Leaf pouted in dissatisfaction, though she didn't utter another word, instead bowing her head and clenching her fists.
Under thirty seconds, her notebook was tossed back at her: "Redo!"
The tone of Joshua Sulliven was somewhat heavy. Keira inhaled sharply, grabbed the notebook looking at the large crosses that punctured the paper and silently picked up her pen to redo the work.
Joshua glanced at her uneasily, put down his pen somewhat frustrated, and walked to the window. He put a hand in his pocket, silently observing the horse race field in the backyard.
His mood was terrible. After hearing that Keira was moving back to the Leaf family, it had worsened. But, didn't he know all along that she would go back? Why was he so uncomfortable knowing she was leaving?
