Joshua Sulliven pushed the wheelchair forward but the housekeeper didn't follow them; he stayed near the elevator, ready to help if needed.
Keira Leaf had no idea what was on the rooftop, but she felt warm, and a rich fragrance of flowers and plants filled the air; it was a warm scent that carried the aroma of sunlight.
"Alright, you can open your eyes now," Joshua Sulliven whispered.
When Keira Leaf opened her eyes, she felt as if she were enveloped by sunshine. She looked around to find the room was filled with thriving fresh flowers. Bunches of roses covered large swathes of the floor, with Chinese roses, jasmine, and baby's breath intertwining amongst nameless blooms. Green branches and leaves climbed the walls, occasionally dotted with blooming blossoms.
Keira Leaf would never have guessed this place was a flower house. The fragrances and greenery were overwhelming, and she was captivated by it all.
