Max Sully watched Keira Leaf's back in a trance as the wind from the window blew in and dispersed some of the gloom inside the room. Keira turned around and put the disorderly wine bottles and cans from the ground into a bag and placed it by the door.
"I thought you would help me clean the room from top to bottom." The man spoke with a light laugh.
"I have no interest in playing nanny." Keira washed her hands and stood in front of the tea table.
"Heh heh..."
Max laughed softly, seemingly unconcerned about her words.
"If it's alright, I'll leave first. If the money isn't enough, you can call me and I'll try to come up with it." Keira found a pen, wrote down her phone number, and placed it on the tea table.
Max glanced at the phone number on the table and spoke directly as she put away her pen and prepared to leave, "Take your money back."
Keira stopped and turned around to ask, "Why?"
"I never had the surgery." Max spoke indifferently, as if discussing something insignificant.
