"Where's Jack?"
"Jack is in the study."
"I'll go see him," Keira Leaf walked directly into the study.
When Keira Leaf pushed the door open, Tristan Leaf was sitting in front of the table wearing dark blue striped dungarees and a small white shirt, staring blankly at a mess of building blocks laid out before him.
The sound of Keira's footsteps didn't bring him back to his senses--she must be used to this reaction from Tristan.
Keira didn't speak to disturb him but sat down with a pencil next to him and started going through the printed files in hand, earnestly marking something.
Half an hour later, Tristan finally turned his head, stretching his neck to peek out from under Keira's arm propped up by the table, and took a hard look at the stack of documents in front of her before twisting his head to look at Keira.
