Knocking at the door in the dead of night, who could it be?
The man frowned; he had clearly given orders not to allow anyone near.
Just as he thought of getting angry, the sound of knocking rose again.
Accompanied by the timid sobbing of a little girl.
"Mommy... Daddy... are you there? Lulu is scared, Lulu wants to sleep with Mommy and Daddy!"
Having just acknowledged her Daddy, little Lulu naturally started calling him "Daddy."
Her voice, soft and tender, drifted in from outside the door.
Lily, upon hearing this, felt a pang of heartache.
"It's Lulu." She sat up, ready to open the door.
The man, of course, was unwilling and aimed to stop her.
They had agreed, after a successful marriage proposal, it would be time alone for the two of them.
They had barely been together half a day before the Kid interrupted them.
"Aidan Lucas, please step aside, Lulu is scared."
Lily, unable to free herself from the man's embrace, resorted to coquettish pleading.
