"I might be a bit clumsy, but at least I've got guts and I'm not scared," Jack Shaw said confidently, stepping forward and patting Evelyn Sherman on the shoulder.
"If you're truly determined to take this step, be prepared for the days ahead not to be too easy."
"Guide, there's new news," the assistant suddenly walked into the lounge, froze at the sight of Jack and Evelyn conversing, and turned to leave.
"We're done talking. What's the new news? Come in and tell us," Jack ordered his assistant as he looked up.
"It's good news!" The assistant rushed in excitedly when he heard Jack's words.
"The company that invested in Clara Sanders' new drama and competed with us has gone bankrupt. Even their CEO has disappeared. What was his name again… Mr. Scott?"
"You're saying Lucas Scott?" Evelyn rose from the sofa in surprise, staring at the assistant.
