"Collins Aiden, why are you just looking at me and not drinking anything?" Ella Jackson felt a bit flushed after having two glasses of red wine.
When she lifted her head, she noticed that Collins Aiden had been watching her intently without taking a sip of his drink.
"You've had enough," Collins Aiden reached out to her. Without waiting for Ella's consent, he pulled her into his arms, letting her sit in his lap.
"I'm not drunk, just two glasses." Ella stretched out two pale fingers, waving them in front of his eyes with a beaming smile.
"It's not the wine that's intoxicating, I am. Don't you think the night is especially beautiful tonight?"
"You're beautiful," Collins Aiden said candidly.
"You're just trying to flatter me? I never realized before how good you are at deceiving girls..." Ella burped with alcohol, squinting her big eyes to look at him.
Collins Aiden seldom spoke, but when he did, it was always sharp and to the point.
