Even if he could accept Harry, what about her?
She was just a woman he was supporting now, powerless to resist him. If he wanted to take Harry away by force, she wouldn't even be able to see her child.

Evelyn Sherman was hesitating about what to do when her cell phone suddenly rang. She stared at the caller ID on the screen for several seconds before answering.
"Charlie, you're back?"
"I just arrived on today's plane. Where are you? I'd like to see you." Charlie Austin's warm voice was like a spring breeze.
Evelyn paused before saying, "Alright, I actually need your help with something."
"Let's meet at the same café we met last time. We'll talk then." Charlie stated succinctly, and then hung up.
Evelyn bit her lip, concealing the hesitation in her eyes, and returned to the room.
"Harry, let's pack some things. Mommy is going to take you somewhere."
