Evelyn Sherman stared for a long time but couldn't recognize the person in front of her as the leader of any TV station, looking puzzledly at Jack Shaw.
"Yes, who may you be?" Jack stood up from his seat and asked politely.
"I'm here to tell you that you don't need to wait anymore. Our leader doesn't have any free time today and won't be coming." The middle-aged man finished speaking and turned to leave.
"Wait a minute." Jack stepped out from his seat, approached the middle-aged man, and said, "If the leader is busy today, it's fine. We can reschedule. Could you tell us when they might be free?"
"Tsk." The middle-aged man sneered, looking at Evelyn Sherman with contempt. "When your film crew's scriptwriter is no longer this woman, we'll talk."
After saying that, the man took out his cell phone, walking out while making a phone call.
