"Have someone send the child back to the kindergarten and make sure he is safely returned before coming back," Chester Yale said in a low growl before hanging up the phone.
Sitting back at his office desk, he opened the documents but couldn't read a single word.
He went back to the window, lit a cigarette, and took a deep inhale.
The smoke swirled around him, blurring his enchanting face, his dark eyes deep and focused on the group tower below.
From this high up, people at the bottom looked like intricate clusters of ants, but he couldn't help but search the crowd for any sign of the little figure that might have left the group lobby.
But after watching for a while, he saw nothing.
"Knock knock—"
The door to his office room sounded again.
"CEO."
The secretary returned, her face apprehensive as she respectfully approached him.
"Did you send him back?" Chester Yale's eyes flickered as he walked back to his desk and sat down, his demonic pupils sweeping over the secretary.
