"Lady, there is road construction ahead, so the car might get a bit bumpy," the driver turned around and respectfully reminded her.
The time for kindergarten dismissal was approaching, and Evelyn Sherman was getting ready to pick up the two little buddies.
Upon hearing the driver's words, she nodded slightly.
"We have enough time; there's no need to rush, safety first." Evelyn finished speaking, heard her cell phone ring, and was about to reach into her bag to get her cell phone when the driver suddenly hit the brakes, and her petite body was thrown forward.
Her forehead struck the car seat in front, and she let out a pained hum.
"Miss, are you alright?" The driver looked back anxiously and asked. The bodyguard car following behind also stopped immediately, entering a vigilant state.
