The soft little body climbed onto the chair and reached out to lift Ella Jackson's quilt.
"Auntie, the wicked person has already left!" Harry whispered into Ella Jackson's ear.
The next second, Ella Jackson, who had kept her eyes shut tight, suddenly opened them wide and sat up in bed, turning her head to glance at the door before looking toward Evelyn Sherman.
"Sheldon Yale's men have left?"
"Yeah, the ones who came to scout for messages have already left…" As soon as Evelyn finished speaking, Ella Jackson sat properly on the bed and took an apple that had already been peeled from the cabinet beside the bed and took a bite.
"Sheldon Yale's people are so inefficient, what can they actually accomplish? It took them so long just to scout for some messages, I almost suffocated here." Ella Jackson complained, then crisply bit into the apple a couple more times.
Remembering her little male celebrity, she hurriedly picked up another apple for Collins Aiden to peel.
