Should I continue waiting?
Chester Yale's dark eyes shimmered with a firm radiance, his thin lips sealed tight, not uttering a word, and his tall figure stood still in front of the Yakov family gate.

Every time Evelyn Sherman thought about Chester Yale standing in the cold wind that morning, she felt restless all day.
While following Grace Yakov to inspect the company, whatever Grace said to her went in one ear and out the other.
At mealtime, all that lingered in her mind was whether Chester had left yet, and if he hadn't, who would bring him food?
If he stood there cold and hungry all day, he would surely fall ill...
"Mom, I'm feeling a little tired, can we go back earlier?" Evelyn feebly said, as she reached for Grace Yakov who was walking ahead, tugging at her to stop.
Her palms were silently clenched tight.
Fearing that Grace might notice she was worried about Chester.
