It's just 6:00 PM.
He had asked Evelyn Sherman to deliver his meal to him, with still an hour and a half to go before 7:30.
"Mr. Chester, today's meeting went very smoothly, so it ended a bit earlier than expected." The secretary hastily explained.
"Then schedule another meeting. Isn't there a departmental meeting tomorrow? Move it to today. In short, I'm very busy until 7:30. Do you understand?"
Chester Yale lazily placed his long finger on the office desk and coldly glanced at the secretary.
The secretary was taken aback, confusion evident on his face, but looking up at Chester's icy dark eyes, he quickly bowed.
"Yes, I'll go arrange it right away."
The office room emptied out.
Chester Yale walked over and sat down in front of the sofa, stretching his long legs and checking his wrist watch.
In his mind, the picture of the first time Evelyn Sherman delivered him food floated up.
That was the first time he tasted her home cooking.
