Elder Qi was a Gu Elder known for both his integrity and progressive thoughts and was also a devoted follower of Saintess Dai. Over thirty years ago, he had even taken on the role of guardian for the "Gu Master Labor Team," visiting Longzuo County and the Wang family, where he spent some time.
He had interacted and exchanged views with Wang Shouzhe; both held mutual recognition for their shared ideologies. He had also provided considerable assistance during the Wang family's expansion into the Southern Frontier.
