Daniel Cooper burst into laughter, "No worries, you're a doctor, aren't you?"
At last, Amelia couldn't help but roll her eyes.
Daniel straightened up slightly, drew her into his arms with both arms, and said softly, "Okay, I get it. I'll be more careful next time. Are you still mad, or not?"
"Thinking there'll be a next time? In your dreams."
Though she said that, her tone had softened.
Amelia gave a smug smile and rubbed her cheek, "I don't mind waiting, I'm just afraid you won't be able to resist sneaking into my arms in the middle of the night."
Then, leaning down to her ear, he whispered, "Begging me..."
Before he could finish, Amelia angrily pushed him away, "Disgusting."
In the next second, he had closed in once again, "How can you use such an ugly word to describe your own man? And you call me disgusting just for what I say, hmm?"
"You..."
She stopped the rest of his words, but it was clear without guessing that it was nothing serious.
