Daniel Cooper's gaze had been fixed ahead until he finally turned to look at her in response, glancing at her indifferently, "Yes."
Jade Graham nodded and said with a smile, "I wish you and Ms. Foster a lifetime of happiness together."
Perhaps pleased by her words, a faint smile curved his lips, "My Amy said that Oliver Mitchell has been pursuing you for a long time. If you're interested in him, you could go to Ms. Foster's Research Institute together. The pay is good, and it's safe, more suitable for a girl."
Jade's eyes widened in disbelief, her face showing a mix of surprise and shyness. Everyone said Mr. Cooper was cold and taciturn—she hadn't expected him to say so much to her. She'd have something to boast about when she got back.
"Thank you, Mr. Cooper, I'll consider it."
Having said that, she pushed the door open to get out of the car, agile as a monkey, and disappeared after a few leaps and bounds.
