After saying that, she took off her coat and sat down next to Professor Carlson, leaving the chair next to Daniel Cooper for Zachary Shane.
Zachary, seemingly oblivious to Daniel's icy, knife-like gaze, greeted everyone with a smile and then boldly took his seat.
The atmosphere at the dinner table then became somewhat awkward.
