Daniel Cooper frowned, but didn't say anything else. His slender fingers tapped on the menu a few times, then the waiter left.
Amelia sat opposite him and picked up the delicate little teapot to pour herself a cup of tea. She cupped her slightly cool fingers around the cup to warm them, and just as she was about to drink, the man stopped her, "With your stomach discomfort, you shouldn't drink tea. I've already ordered warm milk for you, just use this cup of tea to warm your hands."
Amelia instinctively retorted, "I'm not uncomfortable..."
"Every time you had stomach pain in the past, you would only drink Pumpkin Porridge," the man interrupted her steadily and indifferently, "not because you liked it, but because it was the only thing that could relieve your stomach ache."
Amelia, "..."
She hadn't expected him to remember that.
