Zachary pursed his lips, his voice neither servile nor overbearing, "I know Daniel Cooper is better than me in every aspect, and he's also Carl's biological father. Relatively speaking, he certainly seems more suited for Amelia. But all of these things must be predicated on the fact that he must truly love Amelia. If he cannot be wholeheartedly devoted to Amelia, then all his suitability means nothing."
After speaking, he stepped forward and used a tissue to wipe the corner of Amelia's mouth, "Be careful, don't choke again."
Then he took the water cup from Albert Foster's hand, "Teacher, let me do this."
After speaking, he stood at the foot of the bed, leaning over to bring the rim of the glass to her lips, and then slowly raised it. Just as the water touched her lips, he spoke, "Amy, drink up, take it slow, don't rush."
Albert Foster watched with his beard bristling, but ultimately didn't say anything, because his way of offering water indeed wasn't as meticulous.
