Amelia staggered several steps, and just when she thought she was definitely going to fall flat on her face, a strong hand supported her from behind.
A familiar male voice rang out, "When did you drink so much?"
Her head spinning severely, she recognized Zachary's voice and, without minding, she leaned on his arm, her eyes dazedly squinting as she tried hard to see his face, but it was still blurry, feeling as if there were several figures swaying in front of her.
Fortunately, she still had a bit of clarity in her mind. She smiled, showing her fine and pretty teeth, and asked, "Zachary, how did you come here too, what a coincidence."
Zachary let out a deep sigh; he had followed her the whole way here. She was unsafe walking alone late at night, and perhaps, being immersed in darkness for so long, he always felt danger lurking everywhere in this world.
