Daniel Cooper was looking down at his phone when he heard the question and nodded his head, "Pretty much."
"So, it was out of compassion that you kept giving in?"
Still looking at his phone, he nodded, "Pretty much."
"And the person behind this was Mason Moore, you knew that all along?"
"Pretty much."
Amelia took a light breath, "Since Mr. Cooper is so compassionate and tender towards women, why not just marry her and take her home as your wife?"

Suddenly, he lifted his eyes from the phone screen, "What are you talking about?"
Amelia scoffed and gave him a glare before turning to Molly Moore, "Is this what you wanted to talk about today?"
