The two chatted for a while longer, and before hanging up the phone, Ava Summers reminded her again, "Amelia, take my advice, Mr. Cooper is a really good man. Don't be too dominant. As a woman, it's okay to show your soft side sometimes."
Amelia sighed softly, feeling as if she had regained the sensation of having a mom. She stayed quiet for a while before speaking lightly, "Don't worry, he said he would come to pick me up later."
"That's good," Ava sounded much happier, "Maybe Mr. Cooper will coax you tonight."
Amelia, "..."
As if she was really looking forward to being coaxed by him.
Who cares.
"I'm not a child, we can just talk things out, there's no need for anyone to coax anybody."
There was a soft chuckle on the other end, "You're just shy, right? Okay, I won't say more, I wish you a pleasant evening."
"Bye."
After hanging up the phone, Amelia lifted her hand to pinch her brows, feeling like chatting with Ava Summers was quite exhausting.
