The man's face was icy cold, and he seemed to exude chilliness all around him as he indifferently glanced at the laptop on the coffee table and strode over to it.
Zachary Shane's eyes suddenly changed, and he almost threw himself at it, snatching the laptop first. Perhaps because his movement was too abrupt, he lost his balance and tumbled into the sofa beside him.
Standing steady in the center of the living room, Daniel Cooper swung the car keys he was holding and looked dispassionately at the man clutching the laptop, "The allergic reaction to the medication that happened to Lilian Parker was your doing, wasn't it?"
As Zachary sat up, he paused and then let out a cold laugh, "Mr. Cooper, one should speak with evidence. Accusing me without it, I could sue you for slander."
The man's narrow eyes were filled with derisive coldness, "Do you really think I'd come to you without evidence?"
Zachary frowned, "What evidence? Show me."
