Since Amelia didn't get enough sleep in the car earlier, she headed straight for the sofa as soon as she entered the office. Since she was familiar with Benjamin Parker, she didn't see him as an outsider and flopped onto it without any concern for her image.
After crashing onto the sofa, she looked at him with utter disdain and said, "If you're so curious about what's inside, just say it. How can a man be more gossipy than a woman? There's no masculinity in you, what woman would want to marry you?"
Having worked under her for several years, Benjamin Parker had become immune to her venomous tongue. He responded smoothly, "My parents aren't even worried about me finding a wife, so you shouldn't be, either."
"You're almost forty and your parents aren't worried?"
Benjamin Parker, "..."
"I'm only thirty-six! There's still quite a gap to forty!"
